Welcome to my Blog
Dear Friends,
Welcome to my Blog...
I have finally found some time to start my own blog.
This space on the internet is going to capture moments I would like to share with you folks.

Buddies from U of H (106ers) meet at Atlanta, GA for Thanks Giving this year.
Akhil and an enthu Aditya drove from Dallas, TX to join us at Atlanta. Karthik, Krishnan and Sendhil played the nice hosts lodging us at their place.
To start the trip in high note - We started with nice South Indian food, you name it we had it Pongal, Idly, vadai, Dosai. The gang headed to a Golf course for the post-lunch session. Akhil, the pro-golfer offered tips on how to tee the ball, how to putt. You know what, Golf is not as easy as one would think, it requires that right amount of force for the ball to be directed towards the hole. After some 'practise' we started our 18-hole session. 5 guys sharing 3 golf carts and 2 golf club sets playing 18 holes and used up at least 20 balls - one of the first in history. As we have heard people say - You need to start somewhere, well I started my first GOLF game in the chilly Atlanta weather, it was fun. Good game calls for a even nicer dinner. Karthik and Krishnan took playing good host to the next level - served us Rasam, Potato Curry and Cabbage curry. After the sumptuous dinner we did what would make the grand finale - POKER.
Early Saturday evening we headed to a Sports Bar to play several games of Foos Ball and Pool as we warmed up for a game of Whirly Ball. For those who dont know what a Whirly Ball is, it is a Lacrosse played on Go-Karts. Ended the Saturday with a dinner at TGIF.
What more would one want for an holiday weekend- meeting old friends, playing, talking old stuff and taking it easy.
Thanks to Karthik and Krishnan for having us over, it was one good weekend.
Keep visiting my blog for updates :)
Take Care,
~M
